Puberty is when your body through some changes gos pretty wild. During his absence, his lungs will not inhibit their capacity for growth. His bone and muscle mass will not change during puberty, so keep an eye on him, and keep in touch with Dr additional pressure on the sternum, could cause a bigger problem. Good luck!

Funnel chest is not necessarily worsen during puberty. If you are such a mild, you can advise, learn to accept. Corrective surgery can be extensive and not always permanent. We will revisit this issue again, if you are 17 or 18
